A Night on the Le Puy
February 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Many of you know that it is 800km from St. Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela on the Camino Frances. Did you realize that there is another route, the most popular pilgrimage route in France, that starts in Le Puy en Velay and ends, 800km later, in SJPdP?! So, yes! As you are starting your 800km Camino to Santiago, some have already walked 800km to get to where you are starting. This is the GR 65 … the spectacular Chemin du Puy! You follow the red and white blazes all the way to St. Jean Pied de Port!
Join us for a fun and informative night learning about this stunning route in France. We will have three Sacramento Pilgrims share their experiences, insights, logistics, knowledge … and yes, we’ll talk about the food (!) of this very different, beautiful, sometimes demanding route. I would not be surprised if some attendees were not immediately inspired to go book a flight to France, stat!
